Murree (Raja Usman Ali): Continuous and torrential monsoon rains have intensified landsliding in the Jhika Gali area of Murree, with the affected area expanding and moving towards Dhok Dhak.

Residents and public circles have urged the Government of Punjab and relevant departments to formulate an immediate and effective strategy to protect affected families and houses at risk. They said that if the rains continue, the landsliding could worsen, making precautionary measures essential.
Personnel from Rescue 1122, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and other relevant departments are engaged in relief activities, continuous monitoring of the situation and efforts to ensure public safety.
Citizens have demanded that an immediate technical survey of the affected area be conducted, dangerous locations be secured and effective emergency arrangements be made on an urgent basis to protect the lives and property of potential victims and prevent any major loss of life or property.
