Islamabad (News Reporter): Central Vice President of Awam Pakistan Party Chaudhry Inam Zafar and Additional General Secretary Hafiz Usman Abbasi, in their message on National Minorities Day, said that Pakistan’s religious minority communities have always played an important role in the development and progress of the country.

They said that protecting the lives, property, dignity, places of worship, and religious freedom of minority communities is a fundamental responsibility of the state.

The leaders said that the vision of Awam Pakistan Party is to build a Pakistan where all citizens, regardless of religion, sect, language, or any other distinction, enjoy equal rights, opportunities, and protection.

In their joint statement, Chaudhry Inam Zafar and Hafiz Usman Abbasi said that Awam Pakistan Party is striving for a Pakistan based on equality, equal opportunities, and the rule of law, where minorities are not merely regarded as minorities but as equal and respected citizens of Pakistan.

They emphasized that ensuring the effective participation of minority communities in the economic, political, and social spheres is essential for national development.

They further said that, in accordance with Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision of Pakistan, protecting the fundamental rights of all citizens and promoting interfaith harmony are among the most important needs of the present time.

They said that National Minorities Day provides an opportunity to renew the commitment to making Pakistan a peaceful, democratic, developed, and equal country for all.

The two leaders congratulated minority communities across the country on National Minorities Day and said that every citizen’s contribution to the development and prosperity of Pakistan is equally important.
