A Pakistan Army Aviation MI-17 helicopter crashed during flight operations in Muzaffarabad.

The funeral prayers of the officers and soldiers who embraced martyrdom in the accident were offered in Muzaffarabad.

The funeral ceremony was attended by the Acting President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, the Corps Commander Rawalpindi, senior civil and military officials, and a large number of citizens.

On this occasion, a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a guard of honor to the martyrs.

The participants paid tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs and offered special prayers for the elevation of their ranks.

The mortal remains of the martyrs have been dispatched to their native areas, where they will be laid to rest with full military honors.
