Pakistani TV Dramas Remain Outstanding Today, but Actors Once Prioritized Craft Over Fees: Nilofar Abbasi

Jeddah (Khalid Nawaz Cheema): Pakistani television dramas are still excellent today, but there is one major difference: actors of our time were not concerned about their fees. Our primary objective was to work hard on our performances and provide quality entertainment to viewers.

These views were expressed by renowned former Pakistani television actress Nilofar Abbasi while speaking at a dinner hosted in her honor in Jeddah.

The dinner was attended by women from Jeddah along with their families.

A grand dinner was organized in honor of the renowned former Pakistan Television actress Nilofar Abbasi. Among those attending the event were Saudi intellectual Khalid Al-Mina, his wife, renowned broadcaster Samar Fatani, and Pakistan Deputy Consul General Farina Arshad.

Speaking on the occasion, Khalid Al-Mina and Samar Fatani said that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has given Saudi women an important role in society. They said that Saudi women today hold important positions in various fields.

They encouraged Pakistani women, saying that they are also important members of both Saudi and Pakistani societies and should continue developing their skills and striving for success.

Deputy Consul General Farina Arshad, who was the chief guest at the dinner hosted by Dr. Afsar Ehtisham and Umaira Afsar, said that Nilofar Abbasi is one of Pakistan’s great artists.

She said that people continue to watch Nilofar Abbasi’s famous dramas and appreciate her outstanding performances with great interest on YouTube even today.

Farina Arshad thanked the hosts for organizing the event and honoring the distinguished actress.
