Islamabad/Mirpur (News Reporter): Central Vice President of the Women’s Wing of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Jammu and Kashmir and member of the Manifesto Committee, Maryam Idrees, has said that the objective of PML-N politics has never been the pursuit of power, but rather the spirit of public service, which distinguishes it from other parties.

She said that PML-N enjoys public support because its leadership believes in practical measures rather than mere words. She urged the people to vote for the lion symbol on July 27 and ensure the success of PML-N candidates, saying that they would change the destiny of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and development projects would be visible even at the union council level.

She expressed these views during a door-to-door campaign in various areas of Constituency LA-2 Chakswari.

Maryam Idrees, who is also Central Vice President of the Women’s Wing of PML-N Azad Jammu and Kashmir and a member of the Manifesto Committee, said that the vision of PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif was to end the deprivations of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, promote development and prosperity, ensure public welfare and enable the younger generation to stand on its own feet and become economically strong.

Maryam Idrees said that a vote was a trust placed in the hands of the people and urged them to entrust this responsibility to the right person so that he would not only stand by them in difficult times but would also remain accountable to them.

“Do not repeatedly test those who have already been tested. This time, elect Chaudhry Azim Bakhsh, a political and social personality of Constituency LA-2 and a true supporter of the people,” she said.

She assured the people that Chaudhry Azim Bakhsh would not only raise his voice effectively at every forum for the protection of women’s rights and resolution of their problems, but would also play a strong role inside the assembly in matters related to legislation.
