Political Activity Intensifies in Neelum LA-25 Constituency as Major Political Families Join Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party

Islamabad (Special Correspondent) — Significant political developments have emerged in the politics of Neelum Constituency LA-25, as major political families have joined the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

Several prominent leaders from Union Council Lower Grace of Constituency LA-25 Neelum-1 expressed confidence in the leadership of President Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Azad Kashmir and former Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan and resigned from other political parties to formally join IPP.

A large public delegation comprising respected political figures and workers, led by political and social leader Abdul Rehman Haider from Union Council Lower Grace of LA-25 Neelum-1, met with Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan.

Those present on the occasion included Chief Organizer Jammu & Kashmir Public Rights Committee Abdul Rehman Haider, Havaldar Younis (PML-N), Havaldar Jameel (PML-N), Havaldar Malik Aman (PML-N), Jumma Khan (PML-N), Haji Fazal Haq (PML-N), Qadeer Ahmed (PML-N), Bilal Awan (PML-N), Ashfaq Kiyani (PPP), Qadeer Ahmed (PPP), Gul Badeen, Tanveer Kiyani, and dozens of other political workers.

The leaders and workers resigned from Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and formally joined Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party along with their families and supporters. The former Prime Minister welcomed them by presenting party scarves and congratulated them on joining the party.

Addressing the gathering, President Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that he would never disappoint the people of Neelum. He stated that development and public service are his top priorities.

He said that Neelum Valley is a region rich in natural resources; however, there is a great need for constructive development in the area. He assured that every possible effort would be made to secure the rightful rights of the people of Neelum and ensure comprehensive development of the region.

Speaking to party workers and community elders, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that he would never betray the trust of the people of Neelum. He stated, “I give you my word that I will never disappoint you. The promise I have made today will always be honoured, because a Muslim’s identity is reflected through his commitment and his word.”

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that Allah Almighty has blessed Neelum with abundant natural resources, and the need of the hour is to utilize these resources through better planning for the welfare and prosperity of local communities so that the people can receive real benefits.

He further stated that he would play his role at every level for resolving public issues, initiating development projects, improving administrative matters, and addressing other challenges faced by the people. He added that he would leave no stone unturned in resolving any matter within his authority.

The former Prime Minister thanked the workers, elders, and people of Neelum for their love and confidence, saying that the recent election campaign and public outreach campaign are a positive beginning, and the journey of public service will become stronger in the coming days.

He said that they consider themselves servants of the people and regard public service as their responsibility and a form of devotion.
