Prisoner Escapes from Mandrah, Three Police Officers Arrested

In a case of a prisoner’s escape from Mandrah, three police officers have been arrested under the orders of Rawalpindi CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera. The arrested officers include ASI Taqeer Hussain, Head Constable Mahboob Khan, and Constable Qasim. A case has been registered at the Mandrah police station under various sections including terrorism, criminal conspiracy, attempted murder, and resistance against police.

According to police, the prisoner Hamad was brought from Jhelum Jail to the Rawalpindi court for a hearing. On the return trip, the police officers and the prisoner’s accomplices allegedly conspired to place him in a private vehicle instead of an official one and facilitated his escape. Upon receiving the information, the Mandrah police attempted to intercept the suspects, but the escaping prisoner Hamad and his accomplices fired upon the police party. However, the police managed to arrest one of the accomplices, Daniyal, who was found in possession of a Kalashnikov.

The police have initiated a search operation in the area to capture the escaped prisoner Hamad, while raids by police teams at various locations are ongoing. According to police, the escaped prisoner Hamad has a record of serious criminal cases. CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera has made it clear that Hamad and his accomplices will be apprehended and brought to justice, and any support or backing for criminal elements will not be tolerated.
