Rawalpindi (Sanober Kiani) – Jatli Police have arrested a proclaimed offender wanted in a murder case during a significant operation. According to police, the arrested suspect had been wanted by law enforcement agencies since May 2024 and had been absconding to evade arrest.

According to details, the proclaimed offender had allegedly shot and killed a citizen due to a personal dispute and fled the scene after committing the crime. Jatli Police, utilizing modern technical resources and human intelligence, successfully conducted an operation and apprehended the suspect.

Police sources revealed that the arrested individual also has a criminal record and was previously involved in robbery, illegal weapons cases, and other criminal activities in Rawalpindi and Chakwal. The suspect has also been convicted in previous cases.

SP Saddar Anam Sher commended the police team for the successful operation and stated that indiscriminate action against proclaimed offenders and criminal elements will continue.

She further directed that a complete challan be prepared against the arrested offender on the basis of solid evidence and presented before the court to ensure that he receives punishment in accordance with the law.
