Public Service and Police Welfare Are Top Priorities: SSP Operations Islamabad

Islamabad (Crime Reporter): Timely resolution of citizens’ problems and the welfare of the police force are our top priorities, said SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza.

He directed that all available resources be utilized to protect women and children and that immediate, effective, and lawful action be ensured in such cases. “Our responsibility is not to hide crimes but to control them. Criminal elements deserve no leniency,” he said.

According to details, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza. SP City Dr. Ayaz Hussain, all Station House Officers (SHOs), and police station clerks (Muharrirs) attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the law and order situation in the city, crime prevention measures, timely provision of police services to citizens, welfare of police officers and personnel, and various departmental matters.

Addressing the meeting, SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza said that serving the public is the foremost priority of Islamabad Police. He directed that citizens’ problems should be resolved at their doorstep and that every citizen visiting police offices and police stations should be treated with dignity, respect, and courtesy.

He instructed officers to listen seriously to citizens’ complaints and take effective measures for resolving their problems.

The SSP Operations said that police officers and personnel are the valuable assets of the police department and assured that their welfare and concerns would be addressed on a priority basis. “The doors of my office are always open to police officers. The welfare of the force is my foremost priority,” he said.

He stated that the police have a key role in maintaining law and order in the city and directed officers to take strong and effective action against criminal elements.

“Our responsibility is not to hide crimes but to control them. Criminal elements deserve no leniency,” he reiterated.

SSP Operations Islamabad made it clear that a zero-tolerance policy against corruption would be strictly enforced. In cases where corruption is proven, strict departmental action would be taken against the concerned officer or official. At the same time, officers and personnel demonstrating outstanding performance would be fully encouraged and appreciated.

He directed all officers to provide citizens with the best possible police services and timely relief under the SIPS protocol.

All officers were instructed to sit in their offices for three hours every day to listen to citizens’ problems and complaints and ensure immediate measures for their resolution.

He further said that strict action would be taken without discrimination against elements responsible for bringing disrepute to the police department.

The SSP Operations directed police officers to improve their conduct with the public and enhance their professional performance so that citizens’ trust in the police could be further strengthened.
