Islamabad (Crime Reporter) – Shahzad Town Police arrested six members of an organized gang involved in multiple incidents of armed street robbery, shop robbery, and motorcycle theft. Police recovered 10 stolen motorcycles, valuable mobile phones, cash, the motorcycle used in the crimes, and weapons from the suspects. Further investigation is underway.

According to details, the Islamabad Police Shahzad Town Police team carried out a major operation and arrested six members of an organized gang involved in several incidents of armed street robbery, shop robbery, and motorcycle theft.

The arrested suspects were identified as Rehan, Allah Ditta, Hasnain, Akbar, Adil, and Ali.

The police team recovered 10 stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees, valuable mobile phones, cash, the motorcycle used in the crimes, weapons along with ammunition, and stolen property related to various criminal cases from the possession of the suspects.

DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq stated that the arrested gang was involved in numerous incidents of street robbery, shop robbery, and motorcycle theft, while the recovered property is linked to various registered cases. He added that further investigation is underway, and more important disclosures and additional recoveries are expected from the suspects.

He further said that Islamabad Police is continuing large-scale and effective operations against organized and active criminal gangs. Protecting the lives and property of citizens remains the top priority of Islamabad Police, and indiscriminate action against criminal elements will continue in an effective and vigorous manner.
