Rawalpindi (Izhhar Khan Niazi) A special training session on “Police Media Relations” was organized at Police College Sihala at the special invitation of Commandant Ashfaq Ahmad Khan, conducted by journalist Maaira Azam for the training staff and probationary officers, ASIs, and SIs.
The training session highlighted important points regarding effective communication between the police and media, professional communication, better engagement with media, and effective representation of police matters. Participants were informed about various aspects of advancing matters with the media in a professional, responsible, and effective manner.
Journalist Maaira Azam informed the training officers about the correct provision of information during media interactions, timely responses, professional communication styles, and methods to effectively highlight police actions and measures.
The primary goal of the training session was to equip the probationary police officers with the necessary skills to establish professional and responsible relations with the media, ensuring the provision of accurate, timely, and responsible information to the public through better coordination between the police and media.
This session, held at the special invitation of Commandant Ashfaq Ahmad Khan, saw active participation from the training staff and probationary officers.
