Directs Improvement of Field Policing for Effective Patrolling, Rapid Response, and Crime Prevention; Orders Strong Action Against Criminal Elements and Ensuring Police Presence Across the City
Islamabad (Crime Reporter): SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza gave a special briefing to officers of the Capital Patrol Unit. He directed them to further improve field policing for effective patrolling, rapid response, and crime prevention. He also issued orders for strong action against criminal elements, ensuring police presence throughout the city, and keeping all official vehicles in fully operational condition.
According to details, in light of special directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza gave a special briefing to officers of the Capital Patrol Unit. During the briefing, he conducted a detailed review of matters related to field policing, effective patrolling, rapid police response, crime prevention, and the protection of citizens.
The SSP Operations directed all officers to ensure that all official vehicles of the Capital Patrol Unit remained in excellent, operational, and usable condition at all times so that a timely and effective police response could be ensured in any emergency situation.
He said that regular inspections of the vehicles’ fitness, equipment, and communication systems should also be ensured during patrolling. He further directed that active, effective, and result-oriented patrolling across the city should be increased to prevent crime, curb criminal elements, and protect the lives and property of citizens.
He instructed officers to keep a close watch on suspicious individuals, suspicious vehicles, and unusual activities and to take immediate and effective action on receiving any information.
SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza said that the Capital Patrol Unit was an important operational arm of Islamabad Police, whose primary objective was to provide citizens with immediate assistance, a safe environment, and an atmosphere free from crime.
He directed all officers to perform their duties with honesty, professional expertise, and a spirit of service and to ensure the effective presence of police throughout the city under all circumstances.
He reiterated that Islamabad Police would continue to perform its duties with full commitment, utilizing all available resources to maintain law and order in the federal capital, effectively combat crime, and protect the lives and property of citizens.
