The Islamabad Traffic Police have continued their crackdown against illegal parking in shopping malls, commercial centers, markets, and major highways across the federal capital.
According to details, strict action is being taken against drivers violating no-parking rules and illegally parking on footpaths, with enforcement teams deployed across key commercial and busy areas. Authorities stated that indiscriminate action is being taken against those obstructing traffic flow and disrupting road discipline.
The operation is being carried out under the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi to ensure smooth traffic flow, improve the traffic management system, and enforce traffic laws across the city.
Special teams have been formed to target violations in shopping malls, markets, commercial hubs, and major highways. The campaign against illegal parking continues across Islamabad as part of broader efforts to improve urban traffic discipline.
Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan has directed all zonal DSPs to strictly enforce traffic laws and ensure that violations are reduced through effective implementation of regulations. She emphasized that strict action will be taken against all elements obstructing traffic flow or disturbing road discipline.
She further stated that parking must only be carried out in designated areas within commercial centers, and no relaxation will be given to those violating no-parking rules.
