Waris Khan Police Operations Against Drugs and Crime Praised: Qari Khalid Mahmood Abbasi

Rawalpindi (News Reporter): The operations conducted by Warث Khan Police against drugs and crime have been praised as commendable.

DSP Rana Naeem Yasin of Warث Khan Circle and SHO Raja Tasaduq Rahman, along with their teams, have been conducting operations against drugs in the areas of Mohalla Mahmood Ali Shah and Chah Sultan, including the recovery of 10 kilograms of hashish in the Warث Khan Police Station area. Cases under Section 9-C have also been registered, while operations to eliminate crime and maintain law and order are continuing.

On this occasion, the residents of Chah Sultan and Mohalla Mahmood Ali Shah organized a ceremony through the Anti-Narcotics Committee. Addressing the ceremony, District Peace Committee Member and President of the Traders Association Qari Khalid Mahmood Abbasi said that the operations initiated by SHO Raja Tasaduq Rahman and his team against criminals and drug dealers were highly commendable.

He said that drug dealers were destroying the peace of society and the younger generation. Young people in the area could previously be seen using drugs on roads and streets, but timely police action had led to a reduction in crime and better control over drug dealers in the area.

On the occasion, UC Chairman Haji Jameel Akhtar, Vice Chairman Muhammad Shafiq Ahmed, Anti-Narcotics Committee President Lala Israr Khan, Sher Khan, and Traders Association Chairman Agha Hammad thanked the police. They said that the people would continue to fully support the local police in eliminating crime and drugs from the area.
