Zahid Bakhtawari Chairs Independence Day Ceremony in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi (News Reporter) An impressive ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Zahid Bakhtawari, Vice President of the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board, to celebrate Independence Day at the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board. Zahid Bakhtawari, along with participants, raised the national flag and cut the Independence Day cake. Additional CEO Zia Hussain, Assistant Secretary of the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board Imran Habib, distinguished guests, and staff of the organization were also present. During the event, participants saluted the national flag and prayed for the safety, development, stability, and prosperity of the homeland. The occasion also expressed love for Pakistan and a commitment to national unity. Zahid Bakhtawari stated that Independence Day provides us with an opportunity to remember the sacrifices of our elders and to renew our commitment to the development and prosperity of Pakistan. We must unite and play our part in the country’s development, peace, and stability. Slogans of “Long Live Pakistan” and “Long Live the Pakistan Armed Forces” were raised. Zahid Bakhtawari announced solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces, stating that Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir has strengthened Pakistan’s defense, which the entire nation takes pride in. The Pakistan Armed Forces have sacrificed precious lives for the defense of the country; our martyrs and veterans are our crown. At the end of the ceremony, a collective prayer was offered for the safety of the country and its people.
