Tensions High in Rawalakot: Citizens Protest Against Administration Situation turned tense in Rawalakot after the local administration seized a vehicle used for the promotion of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee’s (JKJAAC) Foundation Day program scheduled for May 9.
In response, angry citizens and activists have blocked the main Rawalakot-Muzaffarabad Highway, halting all traffic. Speaking on the occasion, Senior Core Committee Member Sardar Umar Nazir Kashmiri alleged that the administration is acting on behalf of the government and specific institutions to suppress public activities.
