Rawalpindi Police have intensified their operations against criminal elements, leading to significant arrests in two separate incidents.
New Town Police Encounter In a late-night operation, two dacoits on a motorcycle opened fire on a police party in the New Town area. The police retaliated bravely, arresting both suspects, including one who was injured in the exchange of fire. Officers recovered a stolen motorcycle and illegal weapons from their possession. The suspects have a prior criminal record involving robbery, vehicle theft, and drug peddling. CPO Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani lauded the New Town police team for their courage and professional response.
RA Bazaar Police Action RA Bazaar Police, led by the SHO, conducted a successful raid based on modern investigative techniques and secret information. They apprehended a notorious criminal involved in motorcycle theft and housebreaking (burglary). Police recovered 3 stolen motorcycles and 12,000 PKR in cash from the suspect. Further investigations are underway to uncover more accomplices and criminal activities.
