Rawalpindi (News Reporter) The 16th annual grand Shuhada-e-Karbala Conference was organized with great reverence and devotion under the auspices of Jamia Masjid Sheikh Muhammad Amin, Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Awan Market, in which a large number of men and women participated.

Addressing the conference, the Patron-in-Chief of Idara Taleemat-e-Islamia Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Syed Riaz Hussain Shah, said that the incident of Karbala is an everlasting symbol of faith, insight, truthfulness, and steadfastness against falsehood. He stated that the great sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) is a practical interpretation of the teachings of the Holy Quran, and if the Ummah adopts sincere and correct guidance, its problems can be resolved.

He urged the participants to make the teachings of Imam Hussain (RA), love for Ahl-e-Bait (RA), and Qur’anic principles a part of their lives in order to build a righteous, disciplined, and united society.

Other notable participants included Syed Faisal Riaz Hussain Shah, Syed Numan Riaz Hussain Shah, Syed Bashir Hussain Shah, Syed Sajjad Mazhar Gilani, Syed Zia-ul-Haq Shah Gilani, Allama Bashir-ul-Qadri, and Mufti Rizwan Anjum.

The proceedings were conducted by Hafiz Sheikh Muhammad Qasim and Safdar Ali Mohsin, while renowned reciters Zain-ul-Abideen Mithmi, Al-Haj Muhammad Shehzad Madni, and Qari Shehzad presented Na’at and Manqabat, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The conference concluded with special prayers for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, the security and stability of Pakistan, national development, and peace and prosperity across the Islamic world.
