Iranian Speaker Invites Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to Attend Memorial Ceremony in Tehran

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf Expresses Commitment to Strengthening Pakistan–Iran Fraternal Relations

Islamabad (Izhar Khan Niazi) – Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has formally invited Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to attend an official memorial ceremony scheduled to be held in Tehran on July 3, 2026.

According to the statement issued, the invitation references the ceremony being held in memory of Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, paying tribute to his services and expressing deep sorrow and grief on the occasion.

In his message, Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf extended good wishes to Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the Parliament of Pakistan, and the people of Pakistan. He stated that Pakistan and Iran share fraternal relations based on mutual respect, shared values, and historical ties, which continue to strengthen over time.

He expressed hope that close cooperation and historic friendship between the two neighboring brotherly countries would continue to grow further. He also described the services and struggle of Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei as a guiding light for future generations.
