Delegation of Private Schools Association Meets Punjab Minister for Communication and Works
Rawalpindi (City Reporter) — A delegation of the All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APPSMA) held an important meeting with Punjab Minister for Communication and Works Malik Sohail Ahmed Bharth and Secretary Communication and Works Department Raja Jahangir Anwar regarding administrative issues faced by private educational institutions, particularly matters related to the issuance of building fitness certificates.
The delegation included APPSMA Central President Kashif Adeeb Jawadani, President Lahore and Kasur Chaudhry Abbas, and Central Joint Secretary Muhammad Hassnain.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various challenges faced by private schools. Officials of the Communication and Works Department (C&W) clarified that the department is not the authorized institution for issuing building fitness certificates and therefore does not issue such certificates.
APPSMA termed this clarification as a significant development for private educational institutions, stating that it would help remove long-standing confusion and provide relief to school owners from unnecessary administrative difficulties.
APPSMA North Punjab President Abrar Ahmed Khan congratulated Central President Kashif Adeeb Jawadani, President Lahore and Kasur Chaudhry Muhammad Abbas, Central Joint Secretary Muhammad Hassnain, and the entire central and provincial leadership of APPSMA on this achievement.
He said that this major relief for private educational institutions was achieved due to their continuous efforts, sincere struggle, effective representation, and dedicated work.
Abrar Ahmed Khan stated that this success is not only an important milestone for the private education sector but will also serve as a source of confidence, encouragement, and hope for thousands of private educational institutions across Punjab.
APPSMA reiterated its commitment to continue working with the same dedication and determination for the protection of the legitimate rights of private educational institutions and for resolving the issues faced by the sector.
