Islamabad (Crime Reporter): Director General Safe City / Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya chaired an important meeting to review various technical aspects of Safe City Islamabad. The meeting also focused on ensuring smooth traffic flow across the city and formulating a strategy for the effective enforcement of traffic laws.

According to details, an important meeting was held at Safe City Islamabad under the chairmanship of Director General Safe City / DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya. The meeting was attended by SP Operations Safe City Captain (Retd.) Hamza Humayun, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar, Director IT Atif Abbas, Assistant Director Safe City Abbas Mehdi, and the Deputy Director of the NOC Team.

During the meeting, various technical aspects of Safe City Islamabad were reviewed in detail. Participants also discussed and finalized a strategy to ensure the smooth flow of traffic throughout the city and strengthen the enforcement of traffic regulations.

Issuing directives to all officers, DG Safe City / DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya instructed that the city’s traffic situation should be monitored in real time through the Safe City camera network. He further directed that strict legal action be taken against traffic law violators, particularly those involved in lane and line discipline violations.
