Attock (Staff Reporter): Additional Deputy Commissioner General, Administrator of the Municipal Committee Attock, and Managing Director of Suthra Punjab Attock, Aneel Saeed, chaired an important meeting at the Municipal Committee Attock to review key matters related to city beautification, the anti-encroachment campaign, the cleanliness drive, and other civic facilities.
The meeting was attended by Chief Officer Municipal Committee Attock Sardar Aftab Ahmad Khan, officials of the Municipal Committee, officers of the Suthra Punjab Agency, and representatives of other relevant departments.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the ongoing cleanliness campaign, anti-encroachment operations, and efforts to improve the cleanliness and beautification of roads, markets, parks, green belts, and other public places. The relevant officials provided comprehensive briefings on the progress of ongoing projects, challenges being faced, and the future course of action.
Addressing the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Aneel Saeed said that, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, providing citizens with a clean, beautiful, green, and encroachment-free environment is the district administration’s foremost priority. He directed that the anti-encroachment campaign should continue without discrimination and strictly in accordance with the law to ensure the complete removal of illegal encroachments from public spaces, footpaths, and government land.
He further instructed that the sanitation system should be made more effective through the timely disposal of waste, regular maintenance of green belts and parks, beautification of highways, and improvement of civic amenities. He emphasized that all relevant departments should perform their responsibilities with close coordination and accountability. He also directed officials to ensure their presence in the field, continuously monitor the ongoing campaigns, and promptly address public complaints.
Aneel Saeed stated that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Attock Dr. Mudassir Ahmad Shah, the district administration is making every effort to transform the city into a clean, beautiful, organized, and encroachment-free district. He said that all concerned departments would work in close coordination to provide citizens with the best possible municipal services.
He reaffirmed that, in accordance with the directions of the Government of Punjab, the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, and the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner Attock, all initiatives related to cleanliness, urban beautification, tree plantation, anti-encroachment operations, and the provision of public facilities would continue with dedication and consistency, with the goal of making Attock a clean, green, beautiful, and model district.
