337 Individuals, 152 Houses, 17 Hotels, 47 Shops, 179 Motorcycles, and 83 Vehicles Checked; Seven Suspects and 24 Motorcycles Shifted to Police Stations for Verification

Islamabad (Crime Reporter): Islamabad Police continued its grand search and combing operations in various parts of the federal capital as part of ongoing efforts to prevent crime and crack down on criminal elements.

According to details, the operations were carried out on the special instructions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. Under the supervision of the respective Zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs), grand search and combing operations were conducted in different areas of the city.

During the operations, police checked 337 individuals, 152 houses, 17 hotels, 47 shops, 179 motorcycles, and 83 vehicles. For further verification, seven suspicious individuals and 24 motorcycles were taken to various police stations.

In addition, police arrested suspects involved in the illegal possession of firearms and recovered two pistols of different calibres along with ammunition from their possession.

The Islamabad Police stated that such search and combing operations will continue to maintain law and order, prevent criminal activities, and ensure the safety and security of the residents of the federal capital.
