APSMA Rawalpindi President Adnan Nisar Meets District Education Officer and Focal Person for Private Schools; Agreement to Promote Mutual Cooperation

RAWALPINDI (City Reporter): President of the All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APSMA) Rawalpindi, Adnan Nisar, met District Education Officer and Focal Person for Private Schools Dr. Shahenshah Babar Khan at his office.

Speaking on the occasion, Adnan Nisar said that APSMA was the largest organization representing private educational institutions and held a prominent position across the country. He said that private educational institutions were playing a fundamental role in promoting education, increasing the literacy rate, and providing quality education in Pakistan.

He said that the private education sector was a strong partner of the government and an important stakeholder in the education system. Therefore, consultation with and representation of the private sector should be ensured in educational policymaking and administrative affairs.

On the occasion, Dr. Shahenshah Babar Khan said that the role of the private education sector was undeniable. He said that without private educational institutions, it would not be possible to bear the burden of the national and provincial education systems.

He said that private educational institutions were educating the children of the nation, which was a great national service. He further said that adopting a facilitative and positive approach towards educational institutions, students, and parents was an important need of the hour.

The meeting also included detailed discussions on promoting cooperation between private and government educational institutions and further strengthening mutual relations.

Dr. Shahenshah Babar Khan further said that private educational institutions should comply with government instructions regarding building fitness certificates. He directed institutions operating in dilapidated buildings to immediately shift to safer buildings.

He also said that institutions not registered with the Education Department should immediately complete their registration, adding that the department would extend full cooperation to such institutions in this regard.
