President of the International Islamic University Visits Jamia Salfia Islamabad

Islamabad (Staff Reporter): The President and Acting Rector of the International Islamic University, Dr. Ahmed bin Saad Al-Ahmad, visited Jamia Salfia Islamabad, located in Sector H-8, Islamabad, where he was warmly received by the Head of Jamia Salfia, Hafiz Sheikh Muhammad Shafiq, along with members of the faculty.

During the visit, the Deputy Sheikh-ul-Hadith of Jamia Salfia, Dr. Tahir Mahmood, welcomed Dr. Ahmed bin Saad Al-Ahmad and gave him a comprehensive tour of the institution.

Dr. Ahmed first visited the students’ classrooms, where he interacted with the students by asking academic questions. He also toured the female students’ classrooms and engaged them in a similar interactive session. He later visited the institution’s library and media studio before attending a ceremony held in the central mosque of Jamia Salfia in his honor. On the occasion, Dr. Tahir Mahmood presented the welcome address.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ahmed bin Saad Al-Ahmad spoke to the students, asked them educational questions, and presented cash prizes to those who gave the correct answers.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Head of Jamia Salfia Islamabad, Hafiz Sheikh Muhammad Shafiq, presented a commemorative shield to Dr. Ahmed bin Saad Al-Ahmad in recognition of his visit.

On the same occasion, the Sheikh-ul-Hadith of Jamia Salfia Islamabad, Dr. Abdul Basit, presented Dr. Ahmed with a copy of his book titled “Al-Qawa’id al-Tafsiriyyah ‘Inda al-Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah” (“The Principles of Qur’anic Interpretation According to Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah”).
