Special Committee Approves Civil Awards for 78 Individuals in Various Categories

ISLAMABAD (By Izhar Khan Niazi): Approval has been granted for civil awards to martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country and ghazis who demonstrated exceptional courage and bravery.

A special committee meeting on gallantry awards was held under the chairmanship of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, during which civil awards for 78 individuals in various categories were approved.

Addressing the meeting, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that encouraging those who had sacrificed their lives for the country and nation, as well as those who had demonstrated extraordinary courage, was a national responsibility.

He said the nation remained indebted to the martyrs and ghazis for their everlasting sacrifices, adding that their great sacrifices were a valuable national asset.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Federal Secretary Interior, Director General FIA, Additional Secretary Cabinet Division, and other relevant officials attended the meeting.

Representatives from all four provinces also participated in the meeting via video link.
