According to details, significant meetings were conducted at the Central Police Office Islamabad under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq, Deputy Inspector General of Police Law and Order Muhammad Atiq Tahir, AIGs, SSPs, and other senior police officers. The meetings reviewed the administrative and operational matters of Islamabad police, overall performance, manpower, logistics support, the Safe City system, and institutional capacity. The meetings also assessed effective security and traffic arrangements in the federal capital on Independence Day, as well as measures taken to facilitate citizens and provide them with a safe and peaceful environment. The IG Islamabad instructed the relevant officers to utilize all available resources effectively to further improve security, traffic management, and service delivery. He emphasized the continuous improvement of the force’s capacity, an effective administrative system, and policing aligned with modern requirements. Subsequently, the IG Islamabad also conducted a detailed review of the ongoing upgrade work at the Central Police Office and issued necessary instructions to the relevant officers to complete construction and development work on time and according to the specified standards.
