Murree (Raja Usman Ali) – Commissioner of Rawalpindi Division, Suleman Ghani, conducted a detailed visit to Murree District, where Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi welcomed him. During the visit, the Rawalpindi Commissioner reviewed various development projects, tourist sites, areas affected by landslides, and district administrative matters. The Commissioner inspected the GT Road Murree and assessed ongoing development projects, road conditions, cleanliness, and traffic flow. On this occasion, Brigadier Action Highway Adeel provided the Commissioner with a detailed briefing on the ongoing projects. The Commissioner instructed that all development work be completed to high standards and within the stipulated time frame. He also visited the Wildlife Park at Bansera Gali, where he evaluated the facilities provided to tourists, cleanliness arrangements, and the care of animals. The Commissioner visited the landslide-affected site in Jhika Gali and conducted a detailed inspection of the area. He directed the relevant departments to initiate immediate restoration work at the affected site and emphasized the need for effective safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
At the end of the visit, the Rawalpindi Commissioner chaired an important meeting at the Deputy Commissioner Office in Murree regarding the district’s “District Profile.” The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of Murree, Additional Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners, and other relevant officials. The Commissioner received a detailed briefing on the district’s overall performance, law and order situation, progress on development projects, and arrangements for August 14. Commissioner Suleman Ghani instructed all relevant departments to prioritize public welfare, ensure quality and pace in development projects, and maintain transparency and merit in government affairs.
