During the inaugural ceremony of the Bajaur Premier League, Lali Shah Pakhtun Yar stated in a press release that a drug-free and crime-free peaceful Bajaur is his dream. The primary aim of the Bajaur Premier League is to attract the youth of Bajaur towards positive activities and sports so that they stay away from drugs, crime, and other negative activities.
He mentioned that sports play a crucial role in making youth healthy, skilled, and responsible citizens. Our effort is to provide opportunities for the youth of Bajaur to showcase their talents in the field of sports and to promote peace, brotherhood, and positive thinking in the region.
Lali Shah Pakhtun Yar expressed that our dream is for Bajaur to be a place where no youth falls victim to drugs, no one turns to crime, and young people illuminate their futures through education, sports, and positive activities.
He further added that the Bajaur Premier League is not just a cricket tournament but an effort to provide the younger generation with a safe, healthy, and peaceful future. We all must work together to make Bajaur a model district free from drugs and crime, and rich in sports.
