Rawalpindi: (Syed Shahid Waheed Hashmi) SP Pothohar Chaudhry Asar Ali visited various churches and other important and sensitive locations in the city to review security arrangements in detail. During this visit, necessary instructions regarding security were also issued to the relevant police officers and personnel. SP Pothohar directed that individuals entering churches should only be allowed entry after complete body searches, and the presence of security personnel around the churches and at entry and exit points should be ensured.
He stated that the protection of citizens’ lives and property is the police’s primary responsibility, and for this purpose, Rawalpindi Police is utilizing all available resources. Foolproof security arrangements must be ensured at all costs at places of worship and other important locations. Chaudhry Asar Ali emphasized that Rawalpindi Police is always engaged in protecting citizens’ lives and property, and any negligence or shortcomings in security will not be tolerated. Relevant officers should remain in the field to continuously monitor security arrangements.
