Cases Filed Against 10 Deported Individuals from Turkey, Italy, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia

Six individuals were deported from Turkey for attempting to illegally travel to Europe, while others faced charges of illegal entry, overstaying, and begging.

Islamabad (Report: Izhar Khan Niazi) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Islamabad has filed cases against 10 individuals who arrived at Islamabad International Airport after being deported from various countries under Sections 3 and 4 of the Passport Act of 1974.

According to the FIA, among the individuals who arrived at Islamabad Airport on August 22, 2026, six were deported from Turkey, accused of attempting to illegally travel to Europe, while others deported from Italy, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia faced various charges including illegal entry, overstaying, and begging.

The FIA has confiscated all individuals’ passports, travel documents, and mobile phones and has initiated an investigation. During the inquiry, it is also being determined whether any human trafficker, agent, or facilitator assisted these individuals in illegally sending them abroad.

FIA officials stated that if evidence of any agent or facilitator’s involvement emerges during the investigation, legal action will also be taken against them accordingly.

The FIA Islamabad Zone has clarified that operations against human trafficking and individuals traveling abroad illegally will continue uninterrupted.
