Daud Khel (Zia Niazi) – A review meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas was held at the DC Office committee room to ensure safety measures in public and private hospitals. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters Umar Farooq, Assistant Commissioner Mianwali Faisal Imran, District Emergency Officer Engineer Naveed Iqbal, CEO Health Dr. Mian Kashif Ali, MD Wasa Rizwan Akbar, as well as MS representatives from DHQ and THQ hospitals. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner was given a detailed briefing on the installation of emergency equipment in public and private hospitals and multi-story buildings. The Deputy Commissioner, addressing the meeting, emphasized that the existing emergency equipment in public hospitals should be fully operational. He instructed the Assistant Commissioners of all three tehsils, along with Civil Defense and Rescue 1122, to inspect hospitals for safety equipment. The Deputy Commissioner directed the CEO Health to immediately notify safety committees in all hospitals and ensure that staff receive training from Rescue 1122 and Civil Defense departments on operating safety equipment and handling any emergencies. He also stated that safety measures, including the installation of fire hydrants in public and private hospitals, shopping malls, and other multi-story buildings, must be ensured.
