Islamabad (Crime Reporter) The police crackdown against suspects involved in extortion continues. Two suspects were arrested for collecting extortion under the guise of security charges. Under the supervision of SP Sawan Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf, the Korral police team took effective action against extortion in Ghori Town, arresting two suspects who were collecting money from citizens and plot owners under the pretext of security charges.
According to details, the Islamabad police are conducting a vigorous crackdown against criminal elements and suspects involved in extortion. Following complaints from citizens regarding extortion and harassment, SP Sawan Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf took immediate notice and formed a special police team. The police team, using a professional strategy, caught both suspects red-handed while they were collecting extortion money. The arrested suspects were allegedly harassing citizens and plot owners in Ghori Town and illegally collecting money under the guise of security charges. A case has been registered against the suspects at the Korral police station, and further investigation is ongoing.
