Murree Police, through timely and effective action, safely recovered a 15-year-old abducted girl within 24 hours of her abduction.

According to the police, the girl, who belongs to the Hindu faith, was recovered from Haripur District. DPO Murree, Raza Tanveer Sapra, said that the safe recovery of the girl was a major challenge, for which special teams were formed under the supervision of senior officers.

He stated that the police carried out a successful operation by utilizing all available resources, including CCTV footage, geo-fencing, and human intelligence. According to the DPO, the parents’ timely report and the police’s immediate response made it possible to recover the girl quickly.

The police said that after completing the legal requirements, the recovered girl will be presented before the honorable court.

DPO Murree said that the girl’s safe recovery is proof of the professional capabilities and effective investigation of Murree Police. He also thanked Haripur Police for their cooperation in the operation.
