Vehicle Stolen from Jhang Traced; Suspect and Vehicle Handed Over to Chakri Police for Further Legal Proceedings

Islamabad (Asif Malik): The National Highways and Motorway Police conducted a successful operation near Chakri on Motorway M-2, recovering a vehicle stolen from Jhang and arresting one suspect.

According to a spokesperson for the Motorway Police, information was received from Kotwali Police Station Jhang regarding the theft of a vehicle. Upon receiving the information, Motorway Police immediately launched efforts to trace the vehicle.

The spokesperson said that as a result of modern tracking technology and timely action, the stolen vehicle was traced near Chakri on Motorway M-2. During the operation, one suspect travelling in the vehicle was taken into custody.

The spokesperson further stated that the recovered vehicle and the arrested suspect were handed over to Chakri Police Station, Rawalpindi, for further legal proceedings.

The Motorway Police reaffirmed its commitment to continuing effective measures for the protection of citizens’ lives and property on national highways and motorways.
