ANF Crackdown: Three Arrested Including Woman, Over 48kg of Narcotics Recovered

Operations Conducted at Karachi Jinnah Airport and Pishin; Ice and Hashish Worth Over Rs. 3.7 Million Seized, Cases Registered Under Anti-Narcotics Law

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched operations against drug trafficking in different parts of the country, arresting three suspects, including a woman, and recovering 48.526 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs. 3.7 million.

According to the ANF spokesperson, the first operation was conducted at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, where a search of the luggage of a male and female passenger traveling to Bahrain led to the recovery of 526 grams of ice (crystal methamphetamine). Both suspects were arrested on the spot.

The second operation was carried out near a hotel in the Yaro area of Pishin district, where ANF personnel recovered 48 kilograms of hashish from a vehicle and arrested one suspect.

The spokesperson stated that cases have been registered against all arrested individuals under the Anti-Narcotics Act, 1997, and further investigations are underway.
