Two Suspects Arrested in Four Operations; 187kg of Hashish and Opium Worth Over Rs205 Million Recovered

ISLAMABAD (By Asif Malik): The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has intensified its crackdown against drug smuggling in various cities across the country, arresting two suspects during four separate operations.

According to the ANF spokesperson, a total of 187 kilograms of hashish and opium, worth more than Rs205 million, were recovered during the operations.

In an operation near Killi Saghar Road in Loralai, ANF officials recovered 28.8 kilograms of hashish from a truck and arrested a suspect.

During another operation on the GT Road in Rawalpindi, near a hospital, officials searched a rickshaw and recovered 10.8 kilograms of hashish. One suspect was arrested in connection with the recovery.

In Dalbandin, Chagai district, ANF officials recovered 145 kilograms of opium from a vehicle.

Meanwhile, at a courier office in Haji Camp, Peshawar, officials recovered 2.4 kilograms of hashish concealed inside a stove contained in a parcel.

According to the ANF spokesperson, cases have been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act, 1997, following the operations, and further investigations are underway.
