Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony and “Student of the Year 2026” Held Successfully at Indus College Kahuta

The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony and “Student of the Year 2026” were held in a grand and dignified manner at Indus College Kahuta, where students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance were awarded shields, certificates, and cash prizes.

The chief guest of the ceremony was Dr. Muhammad Arif Qureshi, while notable literary and academic figures including Habib Gauhar, Prof. Dr. Malik Ziaullah, Sir Muhammad Idris, CEO Indus College Sir Muhammad Asif Ghori, Director and Principal Sir Malik Inayatullah Bashir, Principal Indus Boys Campus Sir Hassan Zaheer Raja, along with teachers, parents, and students from various educational institutions, attended the event in large numbers.

The event was moderated by Vice Principal Indus College Girls Campus, Madam Fozia Parveen. The Holy Quran was recited by Abeer Sajjad, Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ was presented by Sarmad Nisar, and a national song was performed by Isha Rehman.

During the ceremony, the college’s twelve-year journey of academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and contribution to quality education in the region was highlighted. Students from BS Mathematics and BS Computer Science who achieved outstanding results at Punjab University were also awarded.

In BS Mathematics, the joint first position in Tehsil Kahuta was secured by Iqra Tanveer (3.64 GPA) and Atia Noreen (3.64 GPA). In BS Computer Science, Javeria Ashraf secured first position with a 3.70 GPA, bringing pride to the institution.

In the second phase of the event, the results of the “Student of the Year 2026” were announced. Tayyaba Naz from Government Girls High School Balria secured first position with 91 marks and received a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 along with a shield and certificate. Tehreem Fatima from Sobia School Kahuta secured second position with 88 marks and received Rs. 20,000 cash prize, while Ali Hassan from Azim School Behind secured third position with 87 marks and received Rs. 10,000 cash prize. Other outstanding students were also awarded honorary certificates.

CEO Indus College, Sir Muhammad Asif Ghori, in his address, highlighted the institution’s academic achievements, modern teaching system, and focus on character building of students.

Chief Guest Dr. Muhammad Arif Qureshi appreciated the continuous academic progress of Indus College, its strong administrative system, and its contribution to promoting quality education, stating that the institution has become a symbol of educational revolution in Tehsil Kahuta.

He congratulated the successful students, parents, and teachers, and urged the youth to adopt knowledge, character, and hard work as guiding principles of life.

At the end of the ceremony, Director and Principal Sir Malik Inayatullah Bashir thanked all guests, parents, and participants, and reaffirmed that Indus College Kahuta will continue its mission of providing quality education and positive academic guidance for the youth of the region.
