

Motorway Police Recover Medicines Worth Over Rs. 1 Million, Arrest One Suspect
Islamabad (Asif Malik): The National Highways and Motorway Police foiled an attempt to smuggle non-customs-paid medicines on the Hakla–Dera Ismail Khan Motorway and arrested one suspect.
According to the Motorway Police spokesperson, patrol officers stopped a suspicious vehicle during routine patrolling and conducted a search. During the search, non-customs-paid medicines worth more than Rs. 1 million were recovered from the vehicle.
The spokesperson said that preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect was attempting to smuggle the medicines from Zhob to Peshawar.
After arresting the suspect, the Motorway Police handed over the recovered medicines and the vehicle to the Customs authorities for further legal proceedings.
