Sialkot (Waseem Malik): Candidate for Chairman of Union Council Kotli Loharan, Chaudhry Jameel Gujjar, said in his special message on the occasion of Independence Day, August 14, that Pakistan is the result of the unparalleled sacrifices and struggle of our elders. Therefore, valuing the country’s freedom and playing our role in its development and prosperity is a national responsibility shared by all of us.

Chaudhry Muhammad Jameel said that August 14 is a great and historic day in Pakistan’s history. The day reminds us of the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the workers of the Pakistan Movement, and the sacrifices of millions of Muslims who gave their lives and possessions for the establishment of an independent homeland.

He said that Pakistan continues to move toward development, stability, and prosperity, and every sector has an important role to play in the country’s progress.

He said that the Pakistan Army is the guardian of the country’s defense, security, and sovereignty. He paid tribute to the martyrs and veterans of Pakistan and saluted the personnel serving to defend the country.

He further said that Independence Day would once again be celebrated across the country this year with full enthusiasm and in a befitting manner. In Kotli Loharan, national flags would also be hoisted during August 14 celebrations, while people would express their deep love for Pakistan.

Chaudhry Jameel Gujjar said that on this Independence Day, we should pledge to rise above personal differences and work together for Pakistan’s development, peace, prosperity, and stability.

He emphasized that it is also an urgent need to acquaint the younger generation with Pakistan’s history, the struggle for independence, and the sacrifices made by previous generations.

In conclusion, he said, “Pakistan is our identity, our hope, and our future.” He prayed that Allah Almighty may always protect our beloved homeland and bless Pakistan with greater progress and prosperity.
