CDA Must Pay Attention to D-12 Markaz: Muhammad Nauman

Immediate Attention of Higher Authorities Required for Provision of Basic Facilities at the Markaz

Islamabad (City Reporter) — President Anjuman-e-Tajran D-12 Markaz and Deputy General Secretary Islamabad Estate Agents Association (IEAA) Muhammad Nauman has stated that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) must focus on D-12 Markaz, as several basic facilities are lacking in the area.

He said that the number of Safe City cameras installed at D-12 Markaz is insufficient, streetlights are inadequate, and cleanliness conditions are also poor.

Muhammad Nauman emphasized that police patrolling should be increased to further improve security, while regular daily cleanliness operations should be ensured in the market.

He pointed out that road carpeting in the market is required and there are no public toilets available. He said that according to the CDA map, there should be one public toilet alongside every four plazas, but such facilities do not exist on the ground.

He stressed that the concerned authorities need to take immediate action regarding these basic facilities.

Muhammad Nauman further stated that the Markaz union will continue highlighting issues for improvement and will work together with relevant institutions to ensure their resolution.
