CIAD Polio Campaign August 2026 Officially Launched in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi (Special Correspondent): Assistant Commissioner Saddar, Member of the Punjab Assembly Ms. Tahseen Fawad, Karamat Rathore of Rotary Club Islamabad, and the Deputy District Health Officer Rawalpindi formally inaugurated the CIAD Polio Campaign August 2026 at MNHC Rehmatabad.

During the inauguration ceremony, participants were briefed on the global polio situation, while the distinguished guests officially launched the campaign by administering polio drops to children.

On the occasion, the polio teams were encouraged and directed to ensure that all eligible children up to the age of five receive polio vaccination during the campaign and that no child is left unvaccinated.

The speakers said that the complete eradication of polio requires parents, the Health Department, the administration, and polio teams to play their respective roles collectively.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, a special prayer was offered for the complete eradication of polio, a safe future for children, and the success of the campaign.
