Rawalpindi (Staff Reporter) – A significant meeting was held in the RDA Conference Room under the chairmanship of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division and Director General Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Engineer Aamir Khattak, in which detailed review was conducted regarding government properties across Rawalpindi Division.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Attock, Deputy Commissioner Chakwal, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi gave detailed briefings on the current status of government properties in their respective districts, the challenges being faced, and the progress achieved so far.
The Commissioner Rawalpindi directed the concerned officers to complete verification of government properties, documentation processes, and all pending matters as soon as possible. He emphasized that all assigned responsibilities must be completed within the stipulated timeframe, and the district administrations should ensure effective coordination and follow-up to achieve the required targets.
In addition, in a separate meeting, the Commissioner Rawalpindi also reviewed the progress on the proposed Rawalpindi Ring Road project. Director Engineering RDA Komal Chaudhry presented the feasibility study prepared by NESPAK and briefed the participants about the project’s progress, initial findings, and various technical aspects.
The Commissioner directed the concerned departments to conduct a comprehensive review of planning, technical, financial, and administrative matters related to the project and ensure timely completion of all necessary steps so that practical work on the Rawalpindi Ring Road project can begin at the earliest.
The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Rawalpindi Ms. Zenia Humayun, Additional Director General RDA Masood Ahmed Bukhari, Deputy Project Director Ashfaq Sahlari, Chief Planner RDA Muhammad Tahir Meo, Director Administration Nausheen Asrar, and other officials.
