Rawalpindi (Syed Shahid Waheed Hashmi) – An important development has emerged for the residents of Adiala Road and its surrounding areas. The City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi has formally sent a letter to the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi seeking the establishment of a modern Police Lines No. 2 in Mouza Khasala and requesting the allocation of 300 kanals of land for the project.

According to sources, the purpose of establishing the new police lines is to further enhance the administrative, training, and operational capacity of Rawalpindi Police so that better and more effective policing services can be provided to citizens.

In addition to the 300 kanals of land, the letter also requests an extra 20 kanals. This additional land will be used for the construction of a Smart Police Station Saddar Barooni, the office of the SDPO Saddar Circle, the residence of the SHO Saddar Barooni, and official residential quarters for five clerks.

Police officials stated that upon completion, the proposed project will not only provide modern infrastructure for the police force but will also help further improve the law and order situation in Adiala Road and adjoining areas. Practical steps for the commencement of construction work will be taken after the approval of the project and the provision of land.

Residents of the area have welcomed the decision to establish Police Lines 2 and expressed hope that the project will bring significant improvements in security, police response, and public services throughout the area.
