Attock (Staff Reporter): Deputy Commissioner Attock, Dr. Mudassar Ahmed Shah, conducted a detailed visit to various parts of the city to review ongoing development projects, traffic flow, and parking arrangements. He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner General and Municipal Administrator Aneel Saeed, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Hafiz Zeeshan Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner Attock Arif Qureshi, Chief Officer Municipal Committee Attock Sardar Aftab Ahmed Khan, and other relevant officials.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner was given a comprehensive briefing on the progress, quality, and timely completion of development projects underway across the city. Inspecting work at various sites, he directed the concerned officials to ensure that all projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe and in accordance with the highest quality standards so that better facilities can be provided to the public.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed traffic flow, parking arrangements, and issues relating to street vendors and rickshaw stands. He instructed the relevant authorities to immediately address problems caused by illegal encroachments and disorderly parking. He further directed that effective arrangements be made for street vendors and rickshaw drivers in a manner that does not disrupt the smooth flow of traffic and ensures convenient movement for citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mudassar Ahmed Shah said that providing citizens with a clean, organized, and well-facilitated urban environment is the district administration’s top priority. He instructed the concerned departments to continuously monitor development projects, strengthen interdepartmental coordination, and ensure prompt and practical measures for resolving public issues.
He emphasized that all relevant departments should work in close coordination to improve the city’s beauty, traffic management, sanitation system, and the timely completion of development projects, so that citizens can benefit from improved municipal services and facilities.
