Officers Directed to Perform Duties with Dedication and Honesty to Ensure National Security and Development

The monthly meeting of the District Coordination Committee for the National Action Plan was held at the Committee Room of the DC Office. The meeting was jointly chaired by Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas Kathia and the Commanding Officer Kharian, who participated through a Zoom link.

SP Investigation Mehr Muhammad Riaz Naz, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Shahid Khokhar, ADC Municipal Services Majid Bin Ahmed, Assistant Commissioners, officers of law enforcement agencies, and representatives of other relevant departments attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services gave a detailed briefing on the actions taken during the previous month against violations of traffic laws, illegal petrol pumps, illegal LPG refilling, non-customs-paid vehicles, cigarettes and other products, begging, encroachments, registration of seminaries, electricity theft, illegal weapons, drugs, and environmental pollution.

The briefing also covered arrangements and activities related to Independence Day celebrations, the spring tree plantation campaign, and cleanliness operations carried out under the Suthra Punjab Programme.

On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas Kathia directed the concerned officers and staff to perform their official duties with utmost dedication, hard work and honesty to ensure national security and contribute to the country’s development.

He further directed all concerned officers to ensure that reports regarding the performance and activities of their respective departments are submitted to the District Coordination Committee in a timely manner for effective monitoring and review.
