DEO and Deputy DEO Assess Relief Activities in Flood and River Erosion Hit Villages
Daud Khel (Zia Niazi) — District Education Officer (Elementary Education) Mianwali Malik Tariq Abbas and Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Sher Afzal Khan conducted an emergency visit to flood-affected villages to review relief activities and facilities being provided to affected families.
The officials visited Muhammad Sharif Wala and Khan Muhammad Wala villages, which were affected by floods and river erosion. During the visit, they inspected the established flood relief camps in detail.
The relief camps included Government Elementary School Khan Muhammad Wala, Government Boys Primary School Muhammad Sharif Wala (PEF), and Government Girls Primary School Muhammad Sharif Wala (PEF).
The officers reviewed the facilities being provided to flood victims, including food supplies, clean drinking water, accommodation, and medical assistance. They directed the camp administrations to ensure that affected families do not face any difficulties and that the distribution of relief goods remains transparent.
Speaking on the occasion, DEO Malik Tariq Abbas said, “In this difficult time, the rehabilitation and relief of affected people is our top priority. All available resources of the Education Department are dedicated to supporting the victims.”
At the conclusion of the visit, both officials prepared a comprehensive report containing details of existing facilities and recommendations for future relief measures.
The affected residents appreciated the immediate attention and compassionate approach of the education officials, describing it as a source of encouragement during this challenging period.
