Rawalpindi (Staff Reporter) – Member of the National Assembly Tahira Aurangzeb, Rawalpindi Commissioner Engineer Aamir Khattak, and Founder of Pakistan Sweet Home Zamurrad Khan inaugurated a Free Burial Service and Free Community Meal Program under the auspices of Pakistan Sweet Home, in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi.
Addressing the ceremony held on the occasion, the speakers stated that serving deserving and underprivileged individuals is a collective responsibility of society, and projects such as the Free Burial Service and Free Community Meal Program are excellent examples of humanitarian service.
The ceremony was attended by Assistant Commissioner City Iman Zafar, Farzana Zafar, CEO Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi Imran Ali, President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Usman Shaukat, as well as a large number of political, social, and business personalities. The speakers praised the welfare services of Pakistan Sweet Home and Zamurrad Khan, stating that such initiatives play a significant role in reducing the hardships faced by the weaker segments of society.
On the occasion, Zamurrad Khan stated that through the Free Burial Service, deserving families would be provided assistance free of cost, while under the Free Community Meal Program, food would be provided daily to needy individuals. He added that this journey of serving humanity would continue in the future as well.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the chief guests formally inaugurated the Free Burial Service and Free Community Meal Program and described the initiative as an important step toward social welfare and public well-being.
