Islamabad (Staff Reporter) In a significant advancement for Pakistan’s technology and tourism sectors, GOPKZ has officially launched the country’s first AI-powered online travel agency and digital tourism ecosystem during a prestigious event held at the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad.
The event was supported by the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), and was attended by key diplomatic, governmental, tourism, and business figures from across the country. Ambassadors from various countries, representatives from provincial tourism departments, and prominent business personalities participated in the ceremony. Notable business figure Sardar Yasir Ilyas and various corporate leaders praised GOPKZ’s initiative.

GOPKZ’s Group Executive Vice President Muhammad Shahroz Habib presented a vision to connect Pakistan’s tourism sector with modern digital technology while leading the project. Under his leadership, GOPKZ introduced an advanced prompt-based AI itinerary planner, allowing users to create a complete travel plan instantly with a single text prompt.
GOPKZ also unveiled its formal digital mascot, “Nighaban,” alongside launching a special promotional campaign named “PAKISTANZINDABAD” on the occasion of Independence Day. This campaign announced a special 14% discount for bookings made over the Independence Day weekend.
Muhammad Shahroz Habib stated that GOPKZ aims not just to introduce a digital travel website but to create a national ecosystem that connects technology experts, local businesses, global investors, freelancers, and youth on a single platform.
He emphasized that GOPKZ will provide world-class digital facilities to Pakistan’s tourism sector while generating new opportunities for local businesses, technology, and youth.
GOPKZ has also launched a broader industry networking initiative called “GOPKZ Industry Connect,” promoting collaboration with various organizations including the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), COTHM, and Pakistan Young IT Entrepreneurs Association (PYITEA).
The initiative aims to connect local businesses, developers, freelancers, and young IT professionals with global opportunities and strengthen Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.
