Islamabad (Crime Reporter): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired an important meeting to review the law and order situation in the federal capital. The meeting included detailed discussions on the effective use of modern technology, traffic management, security arrangements, and measures to further improve the policing system.

According to details, the meeting was attended by all DIGs, AIGs, SSPs, and the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Islamabad Police. During the session, participants reviewed the overall law and order situation in the federal capital, crime prevention strategies, the effective use of modern technology, traffic management, security measures, and various initiatives aimed at making the policing system more efficient, modern, and citizen-friendly.

On the occasion, IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed all officers to make full use of modern technology, Safe City cameras, digital monitoring systems, data-driven policing, and other advanced resources to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property, prevent crime in a timely manner, and provide the public with the best possible police services. He further stated that effective surveillance, prompt response, and modern policing could further strengthen public confidence in the police.

He also instructed the officers to adopt a comprehensive and effective strategy to ensure smooth traffic flow in the federal capital, reduce the rate of traffic accidents, and provide citizens with safe and convenient travel facilities. In this regard, he emphasized strict enforcement of traffic laws, continuous monitoring of major roads, the use of modern traffic management systems, and making public awareness campaigns more effective.

Later, IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi met internationally renowned Pakistani cyclist Muhammad Bakhsh. On the occasion, he praised Muhammad Bakhsh for his outstanding performance in the field of sports, remarkable determination, hard work, and achievements at the international level. He paid tribute to him for bringing pride to Pakistan and expressed his best wishes for his bright future. The IG Islamabad said that such talented athletes serve as a source of inspiration for the younger generation and that their achievements are a matter of pride for the entire nation.
